Z is for Zoo!

 Letter- Z- He glued strips of black paper & we added eyes to make a zebra.

 

Book- Goodnight Gorilla.  His favorite zoo animal is the snakes, so we made this craft. When we go to our zoo, he goes around & around the reptile house several times. :)

 I had a bunch of animal stickers for him to create his own zoo.

We played with this zoo which G-man got for his birthday. 
Then we used this baby zoo animals toob and matched each one with his "Mommy", which was a zoo flashcard set I had. K had lots of fun doing that! Apparently, I forgot to take pics of that.
We had just gone to the zoo a couple of weeks before, so we didn't make it that week. We have a membership, and our zoo is awesome and hardly ever crowded!

Number- 10
Bible- Zaccheus- we made the man in a tree craft that you can see in the top picture. Verse was Prov 3:5 & the song "Zaccheus"
Gross motor- walked like different animals
Other- We are now working on spatial words, so we used some the animals & his play zoo to play a game with the words: high, low, up, down, above, below, near, & far

Life happens...
"Mommy, let's have a picmic!" Sometimes you have to say yes to a charming face! :) I got out the muffin tin and filled it with random foods, & we dined in the back yard. G-man loved it too. K STILL talks about it!
